Will and Sonny – Days of Our Lives

Until a couple of months ago, I hadn't watched the show in 7 or 8 years, but I seem to remember a surprising amount about who is who and how people are related. So if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. I can't promise I'll know the answer (especially with regards to anything that happened in the last 7 or 8 years!), but I'll answer anything I can!

I'm only here for the pretty gay boys, lmao. I've never watched this show or had any desire to, so I don't know who anyone is. I grew up watching CBS soaps, so I never watched another channel.

I'm sure I'll have tons of questions as we go along, lol - for instance, who is Chloe(?)? How is she related to Sonny?

Chloe is baby Parker's mother, and Parker is Sonny's second cousin. Parker's father, Philip, who is the son of Sonny's great-uncle Victor, recently left town, but I guess a little over a year ago, Phillip had had an affair with Chloe (at a time when he was married to Melanie and Chloe was married to Melanie's father!) that resulted in Parker.

So Phillip is Sonny's cousin(?) and Parker is his cousin, but Chloe's not related to him at all?

That's right, the only connection is that she's his cousin's mother.

Interesting. And of course, they are worried about Great Uncle Vic being homophobic, yes? Is he? Do we know that for sure?

There's really no way to be sure whether or not Victor is homophobic, because they've never actually had an out gay character on this show before. But My guess is that he won't be thrilled with it initially but will eventually come around.

Ooooh, that'll be something. Heh, of course, Sonny would actually have to tell someone he's gay instead of just hinting at it.

Supposedly, his parents (Justin and Adrienne) already know and are fine with it. I kind of suspect that the writers want the viewers to have a few episodes where they can start to get to know and like Sonny before they explicitly reveal that he's gay.

That's what I was assuming. I'm also thinking that Chloe will be the first one to find out - either because she's going to hit on him or someone will try to set them up.

Oh yes, Stefano and Victor are both still in town! It just wouldn't be Salem without them. Victor was mentioned the other day when it was implied that he doesn't know Sonny is gay. Sonny said that his parents haven't told Victor about him yet.

Yes, Victor is still around. Lately, he and Maggie have been kind of dancing around having a relationship.

Maggie was Alice & Tom's son Mickey's wife. Mickey died a year ago January.
