Until a couple of months ago, I hadn't watched the show in 7 or 8 years, but I seem to remember a surprising amount about who is who and how people are related. So if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. I can't promise I'll know the answer (especially with regards to anything that happened in the last 7 or 8 years!), but I'll answer anything I can!

I'm only here for the pretty gay boys, lmao. I've never watched this show or had any desire to, so I don't know who anyone is. I grew up watching CBS soaps, so I never watched another channel.

I'm sure I'll have tons of questions as we go along, lol - for instance, who is Chloe(?)? How is she related to Sonny?

Chloe is baby Parker's mother, and Parker is Sonny's second cousin. Parker's father, Philip, who is the son of Sonny's great-uncle Victor, recently left town, but I guess a little over a year ago, Phillip had had an affair with Chloe (at a time when he was married to Melanie and Chloe was married to Melanie's father!) that resulted in Parker.

That's right, the only connection is that she's his cousin's mother.

There's really no way to be sure whether or not Victor is homophobic, because they've never actually had an out gay character on this show before. But My guess is that he won't be thrilled with it initially but will eventually come around.

Supposedly, his parents (Justin and Adrienne) already know and are fine with it. I kind of suspect that the writers want the viewers to have a few episodes where they can start to get to know and like Sonny before they explicitly reveal that he's gay.

Oh yes, Stefano and Victor are both still in town! It just wouldn't be Salem without them. Victor was mentioned the other day when it was implied that he doesn't know Sonny is gay. Sonny said that his parents haven't told Victor about him yet.

I have a really clear memory of watching Jack's trial (it was Kayla he raped, right?) at my cottage in the summer. My sis and I were hooked on Days (and my beloved Another World), much to my parents' disgust (they hated when we watched TV up there!). But for whatever reason my mom was watching this day and I remember the judge said to Jack that the fact that the victim was his wife didn't mean they'd be more lenient. Quoth Mom: "I should bloody well hope not!" I'd never given it any thought (considering I was 12 or so), so that was one to grow on. :)

Where are Justin and Adrienne's other three sons? I think Sonny is the youngest, so I assume the rest are off somewhere?

I don't imagine Uncle Victor is going to take the news that well. That should be interesting!

While I'm eager for more Sonny/Will interaction, I like that they're weaving Sonny in slowly.

I'm going to go ahead and assume that it's from stories Justin has told him, because even though Justin is technically Phillip's attorney, he's been doing a lot to try to help Chloe have more time with her son. (Right now, she can only have supervised visits, because sometime this past winter she was incredibly depressed and she jumped into the river, trying to kill herself, and left Parker in his stroller sitting on the pier.)

Okay, first post to this community: like many, I find myself in need of another English-speaking, gay soap couple. Funny it's on Days, a show I haven't watched for about a decade.

First off, a little off topic since he wasn't in today's episode, but I remember waaaayyyy back in the mid-90s when Sami announced at Carrie and Austin's wedding that she was pregnant (thinking that Austin might be the father after she raped him) and I also remember when the character of Will was born and a few storylines involving him as a baby. So I feel a little funny saying this but I'm saying it anyway:

My GOD could Will be any cuter?

Justin and Adrienne were not on the show when I watched but my mom did tell me about them and I know they were at point a pretty major super couple. Also, if Sonny is any indication they create some pretty hot offspring.

I remember when Chloe first appeared as an opera-singing, teen. Her acting is....about the same as it always was. Take that however you want.

Really looking forward to seeing this community grow and so glad to see so many awesome people here from the LuRe community.
