OMG that's hilarious. Oh, soaps. So, do people in Salem just go around thinking that stuff like that's all fine and dandy? Will's grandmother is married to this guy and he's fine with that?

Oh, and we're like three years behind on TV down here, so I can only watch it online, so that means basically just the Will/Sonny stuff.

Hey, practice makes perfect! It's not the first time Stefano has kidnapped someone and replaced them. Although, when he did the same kind of thing to Sami's father (Roman) 25 or so years ago, he didn't bother with finding/creating a look-alike. He just made it look like he'd given the guy plastic surgery, and let them use that to explain why "Roman" didn't look like Roman anymore.

But I guess the "practice makes perfect" thing doesn't really apply, since that earlier attempt was actually a lot more successful. It took YEARS before anyone found out that the replacement Roman wasn't actually Roman. Hell, he'd even brainwashed John so that he had no idea he wasn't Roman.

haha, I've been watching this show with my mom for about eight years now and there's still stuff I can't remember! it's easy to miss right now cause Will and Kate haven't really interacted in a while, but he lived at the Dimera mansion with Kate and Stefano at one point last year because he was pissed off at Sami (I can't remember why, lol).

Abby's the only one I can think of off the top of my head; she's related to Will on her mother's side and Sonny on her father's side.

They've got a lot of relatives in common.

Abigail is Will's cousin and Sonny's cousin.

Will's Uncle Philip is Sonny's cousin.

Brady is Sonny's cousin and Will's mother's step-brother.

Sonny also has another cousin, Stephanie, who is Will's mother's cousin.

I think there may even be more connections than that, but I think that's enough! It's kind of amazing that they could be almost-related in so many different ways, but not actually related to each other!

Yes, Lucas is Will's father. I think the story is that he's living in Hong Kong or something like that. I know they do mention him from time to time. He was back in Salem last year for Alice's funeral, and Sami sent Ali (their daughter) to go live with him for a while recently, and Jennifer has mentioned talking to him on the phone. I'd love for him to come back, but there's been no mention of him returning in any of the spoilers.

Huh. Interesting. This is how long it's been since I watched. Last I recall, Lucas had the hots for Carrie, and Sami had the hots for Austin, so they got together to cook up some scheme to tear them apart. I don't think I ever watched any of their happily married stuff, or when they had Will. He was kind of a douche IIRC.

My fave thing about Luke/Reid (well, one of them) was that it was just two guys who liked each other, well, hated each other at first, but there was no "OMG COMING OUT ANGST!!!" storyline, which I feel I have already seen one million times, you know?

I don't mind the slowness so much for now, as long as I can tell myself that it means that the old, crappy writers who are already out the door won't have too much of a chance to fuck it all up. I just hope the story moves forward a little more quickly once the new writers scripts start to kick in.
