So, T's going to be furious...again? I know this is how soaps roll -- they repeat a lot of stuff, but I find it odd they had T get mad on Monday this week and then not have any follow-up until next week when he gets mad again to remind us he was mad in the first place.
I'll chalk it up to the transition between writers and that pacing for some storylines is likely effed up right now.
ETA: Stupid work computer didn't load the whole post, so now I'm seeing the bottom spoilers. Hmm, so T and Kinsey hook up. T trying to prove his manhood? And what right thing does Gabi want Will to do?
It's good that they're all mentioned quite a bit! Let's hope for some good screentime in August.

So combining this with the spoilers we already had... Sonny and T face off, and Victor stands up for Sonny, impressing Maggie. The whole 'T is a homophobic ass' thing is pretty stupid (and not really enough storyline to spread over two weeks), but I hope we'll get some good scenes as pay-off for it. I'm actually hoping that Sonny starts working at the family company, (Titan?) like Maggie and his parents mentioned during the big 'coming out' episodes.
What I *hope* it means is that Gabi encourages Will to take Sonny's side over T, and kind of pushes Will to befriend Sonny. I have no reason to think this is what *will* happen, but it would greatly amuse me if Gabi was at least partially responsible for pushing Will in Sonny's direction. :D
OMG, I hate how little they are showing these two! Only one Sonny scene this week?! BOOO!
Anyway, I am so grossed out that T and Kinsey are hooking up. Does that mean that Kinsey will take his homophobic side, and they'll become some kind of villainous duo? The fact that Kinsey is going to find out Chloe's secret probably means she'll blackmail her. :/
I just want Taylor to leave the show already. That whole dumb storyline has gone on LONG ENOUGH. Every single scene is like, "I will not forgive you, EJ!" Over and over and OVER again. End the madness!
The thing is that I've been trying -- I jumped into ATWT and OLTL immediately, even though I'd never watched them before, and became interested in the other characters right away.
But this one is really a chore. Maybe I've lost the taste for soaps in general.
Maybe it's just not for you. I was never able to get into OLTL -- I watched a few clips and stopped watching. I did the same thing with the German soap AWZ (Alles was Zählt = All that Matters), but I know quite a number of people who got really into both of those shows.
But with Days, much like with ATWT and VL (Verbotene Liebe = Forbidden Love, another German soap opera I really got into for a while, until they changed writers and destroyed Christian and Olli), it just took one or two episodes and I was hooked. I mean, I hadn't watched Days in years, but when I heard rumors of the upcoming gay storyline, a couple of months before anything really started, I started watching and I found myself getting sucked in right away.
Now, I admit, with Days that may be partially -- hell, maybe even mostly -- because this was my show when I was growing up. It's not an entirely new show to me, I'm familiar with a lot of the characters, so it was kind of like coming home... or maybe more like comfort food :D
But that's not true for everyone here and a lot of other people who are new to the show seem to be enjoying the story. And it they don't? That's okay. I won't be offended if a whole bunch of people decide the show isn't for them and leave, although I hope enough stick around so I have at least a few people to talk to -- fandom is just more fun if you have people to share it with! -- but even if everyone else leaves, I'll still be watching it, just like I did for a couple of months before I convinced my fellow mods jumped on the bandwagon.
I'm just saying, not every show appeals to every person, so there's no shame in saying that this show just isn't for you and giving it up. Life is too short to waste your time something you don't enjoy, especially when we're talking about something as trivial as not just a TV show, but a soap opera. I mean, if you decide you want to stick around at least until the two guys start spending some more time together and see if your interest grows, that's great, but if you decide the show just isn't for you, then I don't want anyone to waste their time on a soap opera they just can't get into.
