I know. I got the feeling at the end Will wanted to hug the stuffing out of Sonny. Who wouldn't? The seeds of love were planted right there.

Sami is unbelievable. Will is totally right. If he told his mom, she would make it all about her. He would have to comfort her as she went on and on about how it would impact her life.

I'm new to the show. Is Sami always so self-involved? I liked how Marlena was shocked that Sami has no clue about Will.

Yup, that's when I started watching. When there was the Rafe-twin SL, I don't remember Sami being this bad. It's like she stopped maturing mentally at 14.

I remember being a teenager back in the 90s when my mom watched and YES. Sami was always self-involved. Ever since the character was SORASed and Alison Sweeny took over the role. She came into Salem (I forget where her character was shipped off to before that) and instantly became obsessed with Austin. And it was all Carrie's fault he was in love with Carrie and not her. Never mind they were both about 19/20 at the time and she was an immature 15 year old. So she roofied Austin, pretty much raped him and announced that she was pregnant (with Will) at Carrie and Austin's wedding (and Austin was the father) thereby breaking the happy couple up. Still, when she was found out and everyone (rightly) turned against her.....it was everyone's fault but hers. Mostly she was blaming Marlena I think. If she wasn't such a bad mother who screwed around with John blah, blah etc. She's been singing the same tune for over 15 years now.

Thanks! That makes it even more unbelievable that Austin might feel sorry for her. The Sami history info is very helpful. It fills in some Sami/Carrie gaps also. So, my guess was almost right. She's been behaving the same ways since she was 15. I really liked the scene with Sami and Will where she focused on him for about 2 minutes and then quickly turned the focus back to her problems. Allison and Chandler played that beautifully.

Sami is the second most self involved female character oin the show. First is Kate. What she says about Marlena is a bit true though, Eric, her very yummy twin (played by Jenson Ackles) is much more well adjusted.

Interesting. So Jensen Ackles was on DOOL. Are you saying he was Sami's twin? I don't really watch the Kate scenes so I don't know about her.

Sonny was so awesome in this. He keeps gently pushing the issue, not letting Will get away with his confusion and fear. He's like the best best best BEST best-friend ever and then he says If you need any help I'm here for you....I always will be. That's pretty deep and unconditional and smells like lurve... :)

I echo what's been said above about their smiles at the end. Especially the very last look Will gives Sonny with his watery eyes. Awwwww. :)))))

I really like that Will's first gay kiss wasn't with Sonny. It surprised me and I like surprises. I have a feeling these two won't get together until Will is fully out. I'm curious how long Days will make us wait.

I agree with all of this! I really like that they're taking the long way around to Sonny/Will. It'll feel so much more organic.
