Happy new year! As you can see, we’re going to start doing the separate Official Episode Posts again. For a while there the storyline was so stalled that there just wasn’t a whole heck of a lot to discuss, but now we’re back in full swing! Will’s storyline is getting simply delicious, and hopefully Sonny will come into play in the coming months.

We’ll post a video clip when it’s available, and if one comes up before we get to it, please go ahead and post it in the comments. Ready, set, discuss!

What did you think? I think Will is still being unfair to Sami – it was her first day of work and Kate was pressuring her and she was utterly distracted. It doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to talk to him. He’s being unreasonable. But he’s confused (about so many things he doesn’t even realize yet!) and angry and being petulant. Ah, teenagers.

Wow, I agree (I'm actually watching that part right now). I know Will is hurt (and a zillion other emotions that all seemed to be tied up in sex and his sexuality, whether he knows it or not), but he's really not cutting Sami any slack at all.

Do you think he knows he’s gay? I have a feeling EJ will figure it out first! I don’t think Will knows it – or I hope he doesn’t, as if he does, there have really been no hints to the audience. No longing looks or inappropriate backrubs. ;)

But yeah, he’s definitely being unfair to Sami. Speaking of whom, I loooooooved that Marlena/Sami flashback!

I don't think he knows. All he knows is that he was supposed to feel a certain way about Gabi (how is her name spelled?) and just didn't, no matter how much he forced it. I'm interested to see how they're going to get from "I didn't feel that way about her" to "I'm gay". I think EJ is going to find out first - or possibly find out when Will figures it out (EJ seems to be skulking around him a lot). I'm spoiler free, though, so I could be waaaayyyy off.

Inappropriate backrubs. Oh, man. I can't. *dies laughing* I kind of want Will to give Sonny a backrub now, and for Sami to see it.

It's almost enough to make me feel bad for Sami (which I'm wondering if that's why they're having him go to the extreme.) The flashback was pretty neat, since I've only been watching since Sonny came along.

Ditto! He definitely knows that he didn’t feel for Gabi what he was supposed to, but I don’t think he’s made the connection to the true reason why. EJ’s gaydar is definitely pinging, LOL! My guess is that he’ll tell Will he’s gay, and Will will of course deny it, but a lightbulb will go off somewhere in the back of his head. Then he’ll slowly realize that it’s true.

Eeeeee, so much delicious drama coming our way! Now, will Sami react as Lily did when Luke came out? I suspect she might.

I love that they’re doing so many flashbacks. It’s very smart to capitalize on the nostalgia many soap viewers have for the good ol’ days. And it’s cool for new viewers, too.

Agreed - and with Sami, and his sex issues (because he's clearly developing some - I mean he didn't enjoy sex with Gabi and now he's seen his mother having sex, who wouldn't?), it just adds a whole other layer to him figuring himself out.

I think so too - I knew Sami saw Marlena with John, but actually seeing them fight about it was neat. It gave me some insight on why they have such a tenuous relationship even now.

I think Will is using that as an excuse not to talk to Sami. I think he was only going to try because Saint Grandma encouraged him to. Sami's distraction gave him an out.

What I want to know is this: Does Marlena break Will's confidence and talk to Sami to try and prevent a major crisis? She is not acting as his therapist so she is not legally bound to keep her mouth shut. I don't think she will because she wants to maintain Will's trust and I think that will deepen the rift between Sami and Marlena when it all comes out.

Oh yeah, I agree. He was looking for any reason to not actually talk to his mom.

It’ll be very interesting to see how Marlena deals with it. I suspect she’ll keep quiet for some time, because it would send Will over the edge if he can’t trust her. But at some point it all has to come out – likely in Horton Square in front of everyone. :D

Of course at Horton square. Tom and Alice's plaque will be front and center. It will be the catalyst for major partner swapping.

I was reading above. I don't think EJ could possibly know anything about Will's sexuality at this point. I think we suspect it because of the spoilers. I think EJ is just noticing that something is not right with Will and he is stalking him carefully like any evil character would. Will will slip up at some point and THEN EJ will know and use it to his advantage.

Right, I don’t think EJ knows Will is gay right now, but he knows something’s not right and I think he’ll put the pieces together and guess what it is pretty quickly. I’m curious to see how it’ll all unfold!
