Marlena encourages Will to talk to Sami, hoping it may right some of her past wrongs as well.
Will tries to talk to Sami, who's preoccupied.
Wednesday January 4:
Will considers fleeing from his own problems and Salem.
Sonny assures Will that he can tell him anything.
Down the Road:
During a drinking game, Will kisses a boy. Sonny witnesses.
TV Guide:
Will tries blackmailing EJ in order to leave town.
EJ blackmails Will, threatening to 'out' him for being gay.

The Week of January 2nd:
Old issues arise when Will stuns Marlena with the truth about Sami and E.J.
Marlena is utterly shocked by Will's confession
Marlena is reminded of her own infidelity while helping Will
Marlena strongly suggests that Will speaks to Sami
Will decides Marlena is right, and goes to confront Sami
Unaware of the gravity of Will's wishes to speak to her, Sami rushes off
Will becomes furious over Sami's departure
Will decides that his best course of action is to depart from Salem
Will realizes he will need money if he's going to leave town
Will goes to E.J. and stuns him by admitting he knows about the affair
E.J. is bowled-over by Will's ambush, and when Will tries to extort money from him
The Week of January 9th:
A surprised Sami spots E.J. and Will together
Down the Road:
E.J. and Will blackmail one another
A shocked Sonny spots Will kissing someone new
A mysterious millionaire comes to Salem and meddles in Madison's life
Lucas Horton comes home to Salem, and lends a helping hand to an old flame
