Well, other than in the "everyone in Salem knows each other" kind of way, a few years back, Daniel slept with Kate while he was dating her granddaughter, Chelsea. Daniel also had an affair with Kate's then daughter-in-law, Chloe, when Chloe and Lucas were married.

she insists everything's fine; john's back. will says they must have true love because they couldn't take their eyes off each other.

she mentions her offer to live with him and john and he gets all cagey, eventually saying that raife counts on his help with the kids. marlena immediately knows he's deflecting. He immediately insists that's not true (it's v fast-paced and v cute).

Abigail has some dumb, arbitrary crush on him, but so far, he does not appear to return the feelings. But it looks like he and Carrie are headed for trouble, so I think he and Abigail will do...something. EW.
