Days Cafe Spoilers for the week of August 22


We've already seen some of these, but Days Cafe has updated their spoilers for next week, adding some new ones and changing the wording of some others, so I figured I would update with the most current versions of the spoilers:


- Gabi wants to be intimate with Will again.
- Chad and Sonny have a peace plan.
- Sonny invites Will to help him launch a website.
- Sonny opts to remain in Salem and study at Salem U.
- Homophobic Tad is enraged and vows revenge!
- Will is protective of Sonny.

Seems like they were going full speed ahead until the new writers came on board. *sigh* I kind of hate writer changes. It's been my experience with soaps that every time writers change, I do not get what I want.

I don't know... I mean, as much as I'd like things to just get started already, I kind of suspect that, in the hands of the old writers, Sonny/Will would have been just about as well written, just about as popular with the fans, and just about as long lasting as E.J./Taylor.

I just wanted them to get the ball rolling before they left. That way, they start, new writers come in and make things better for us, and we're set. Now new writers are slowing things down even more and we have no idea when they'll start, who they're starting it with, if we're even getting a Will and Sonny. It leaves so much up in the air which doesn't make me a happy viewer who's only watching for this storyline.

I like and don't like that things are being slowed down. On one hand I want some Will/Sonny action, but I want Sonny to be his own person instead of just being known as Will's boyfriend.

I really don't like all the older people comic back. Is this just cause of the new writers or was it always planned to bring them back? One person I could do with out is John Black. When I think of him all I can see is Joey from Friends as Dr. Drake Ramory and his "smelling the fart" thing he did to look intense and suspenseful.

See, I LOVE that the old characters are coming back (especially Jack, who is probably my all time favorite soap opera character, even more than Luke Snyder!).

One of the biggest things the old writers did that lost them a lot of viewers was when they decided to get rid of a bunch of characters who'd been on the show for decades and start telling all their stories about new favorites who the fans hated (like Taylor). If there's any chance of this show staying on the air for more than just another year or so, they need to get all the viewers who left when the old characters were kicked off to start watching again.

I did love Jack when he was on. He was one of the few that I really remember from the older cast. I just don't want all the people coming back to get all the air time and then we are limited to one or two days a week at Will/Sonny.

IDK. Hopefully he new writers will do a good job dividing up the storylines.

LOL! IA. I can see why DAYS is bringing old characters back, but I'm annoyed that they will take over the show, making the slowed down storylines go even SLOWER, since they will probably give the non-veterans about ten minutes of airtime a week.

...but, prove me wrong, DAYS! Prove me wrong.

Hmmm! Gabi wants to be intimate with Will...does that mean that Will won't want to be intimate back?

Does Chad and Sonny's peace plan involve them making out? :P

I still like that Will is protective of Sonny, and see that as a good sign.
