I think it's too soon to say it's definitely not happening! We don't really know anything yet. It'll be very disappointing if they back out on making Will gay, we don't know anything for sure. :)

i mean i went to that website and some of the ridiculous comments that were on there...maybe thats what they were afraid of happening and want to keep it on the d/l because of the "backlash" they might get.
(which in this day in age is ridiculous....i mean considering on soap operas people watch people getting murdered, abortions,stealing babies, borderline incest, sleeping with each other all over the place in reality these same people that are complaining about two hot dudes getting together shouldn't even be watching these shows if they are going to try and bring the whole moral code into this.)

but who know. its still too early to tell.

i think they are trying to throw people off, but then agian i never thought the writers at ATWT would totally efff up Lure the way they did so.....:O

Yes, I think it's very possible they're playing their cards close to the vest and not giving anything away. Under the new regime, the actors have been told very strictly that they aren't to say anything about storylines. One of the actors tweeted a picture of the sign up at the studio warning them to keep their traps shut. (I can't remember who it was, though, sorry.)

Time will tell, but it's not time to abandon ship yet! But ugh, those homophobic comments. Maybe it's time to fire up another fan support campaign.

I know. I realized that too after I freaked out for a minute. And who knows maybe it will be a good storyline if Sonny ends up with another guy... although I can't really picture him with any of the guys I've seen so far. Let's just wait and see!

I understand the freakout! I mean, these interviews don't make me happy, but it's definitely too early to abandon ship. We'll just have to be patient and hope the show doesn't punk out.

Ken Corday did say they were slowing down the storyline, but that it was happening. But of course, anything is possible. Needless to say, I'll be really, really pissed if they back out on making Will gay.

I think it's too soon to say at this point. With bringing back all those old characters and wrapping up old storylines, the new writers have had their hands full. Fingers crossed that Sonny and Will will be getting together later this fall!

As for whether or not Will turns out to be gay, I vote yes if i get a choice since I think Chandler is a great actor. Here's hoping they don't back out of the storyline, but my investment is pretty low, regardless, so...we'll see.

I read that article the other day and, yes, some of the comments are dreadful. People can show some ugly sides to themselves when hiding safely behind a computer moniter.

I'm a little nervous, but mostly optimistic about the storyline still happening. Nothing official has been said from TPTB about cutting it and it would be a huge waste as Chandler has been playing Will as gay (at the very least scared and confused) for months.

Chandler has actually said in an interview that there was going to be a gay storyline coming up, plus the actress playing Gabi has also stated that Will is going to end up gay. I'm also pretty sure Ken Corday has talked about Will's coming out in interview(s).
