So far all that's happened is that Chad covered for Stefano by lying to Hope and Bo, and Taylor told EJ she doesn't believe he's responsible for Maggie's shooting. Sonny and Abigail recapped the shooting, and Sonny said he starts his job today but didn't get any sleep. Sonny said he sympathized with Chad, because he was upset when he found out about the stuff that Victor has done.

It's a pretty sad state of Hollywood that when actresses age they feel the need to nip, tuck and botox the shit out of their faces until they have a perpetual look of surprise (see Nicole Kidman and Melanie Griffin). I mean, isn't the whole point of acting to be able to show expression? Oh well, I too wish she'd just leave the show. Even back in high school I never cared for this recast. The original Kate was a nice woman with a fierce rivalry with Vivian over Victor. With this recast (as with most) they changed the character to suit the actor instead of the other way around and just turned Kate into a manipulative shrew.

I absolutely hate the way she wears her lipstick. It's awful and makes her look like a clown. I saw her on Criminal Minds a couple months ago and she wasn't all made up. Looked 100 times better.

LOL! Sonny and Adrienne talking about the shooting. Sonny says he just doesn't get straight guys, and then he gets a message that the DA's office wants him to start working immediately.

Hope and Bo tell Woods that Roman has taken them off Maggie's shooting because of conflict of interests (WOW!) but Woods insists they still work it. Bo says that Woods is angry and wants to punish Stefano and Chad both.

I'm not watching -- I've got too much work to even follow the conversation and play in the post all that much today -- but I just wanted to say that one thing I'm really loving about Days is how much interaction everyone has with all sorts of other characters. On ATWT, it always felt like Luke was in this little Luke-bubble and you could watch his story and never even see half the other characters on the show. Days doesn't seem to put their characters in bubbles like that. That's one thing I definitely hope the new writers keep up once their scripts start to kick in!

Oh yes, after Luke came out, he was stuck in his little bubble where he barely saw or talked to anyone except his parents and/or boyfriend.

I agree. And it's sad that I'm actually surprised that Sonny is interacting with people all the time other than Justin, Adrienne, Victor and Will. Soaps should feel like a community. ATWT most of the time felt like a bunch of disconnected stories that I wasn't even sure took place in the same town. I remember Van saying he knew, but never worked with the original (and I'm guessing the second) actress who played Liberty and Liberty was Luke's freaking long-lost cousin!

I'm not sure yet if he's going to be on, but wouldn't that be awesome? I mean, after ATWT, where for months on end we were lucky to get Luke and/or Reid even once a week, I would never have even been able to imagine a week where we had live watches every day!
