Apparently and according to SOD, EJ blackmails Will not with the knowledge that Will is gay, but with the knowledge that it was Will - and not Will's father, Lucas - who shot EJ in the back in 2007.

I am glad to know that EJ, while a low life, isn't that low, but confused as to why CM said that Will would be blackmailed because of his sexuality.

I know, I hate having to delete posts. (I really wish LJ would give comm mods the option of being able to edit subject lines, at least.) But we do need to be careful to keep all spoilers behind a cut and in spoiler posts. It’s easy to forget sometimes that not everyone is spoiled.

I’m glad to hear that EJ is blackmailing Will for the shooting (which I didn’t know happened until now) and not for Teh Gay. It would really be quite a leap for EJ to make at this point! Although I suspect he will figure it out before too long. It would actually be a nice twist if he figured it out and was nice to Will about it instead of a douche. But it’s EJ, so.

Good lord, how many times has EJ almost been murdered?

I wasn't bothered by how low it would have been for EJ to blackmail Will for being gay, but I had no idea how exactly EJ would figure out Will's gay. It makes so much more sense for EJ to blackmail Will with this instead.

I know, apparently EJ has nine lives! With Lucas coming back, this thing about the shooting should be v.v. interesting!

It definitely makes more sense for EJ to blackmail Will about this. Although I’m expecting him to guess Will is gay at some point, or else they wouldn’t have had him do all that smell the fart acting while watching Will recently. I would love it if this mutual blackmail turns into something different and EJ actually is supportive of Will being gay. But I’m not holding my breath!

This makes so much more sense to me than EJ knowing that Will's gay. I know they said he'd see Will talking with Sonny and Tyler and we were led to believe that that's how EJ found out, but it just didn't sit right with me. People don't normally assume someone's gay if they're talking with a friend who so happens to be gay (unless you're a homphobic idiot, Idk).

Yeah, and even though he overheard Will telling Marlena that he’d been struggling with some feelings, that’s a pretty huge leap to make. But there’s no way they had him overhearing and watching Will contemplatively for nothing, so I imagine EJ’s going to figure it out before anyone else does. Should be v.v. interesting!

I would seriously love that SO much. I shouldn't get my hopes up, since EJ can usually be relied on to be a total dick. But how sweet would it be if he actually helped Will in the end?

No worries! It’s best in subject lines and outside the cut to just not say anything at all about the spoilers aside from “spoilers”. That way we can be sure no one gets spoiled accidentally and everyone’s happy. :)
