Please ensure you have read all the rules before posting. Our goal is to keep the comm organized, on topic and lots of fun for everyone!

General Information
This community is dedicated to the pairing of Will and Sonny from Days of Our Lives. Whether you’ve been watching Days for years or are just tuning in, if you like Will and Sonny you’ve found the right place!

Please be respectful of your fellow comm members. Healthy debate is always encouraged, but it must be civil.

Posting is open to all members and is unmoderated. If we start having problems with spambots, we might have to go to moderated, but fingers crossed the bots will keep away!

And this should go without saying, but this is an LGBT-friendly community, and we have a zero tolerance policy regarding homophobia. Any homophobic comments or posts will be deleted, and the offender will be banned. We sincerely hope this won't be an issue at all, but wanted to state it for the record given some of the horrifyingly homophobic comments we've seen around the web regarding this storyline.

Spoilers:

All spoilers must be properly labelled and behind a cut. If posting a discussion topic that is spoilery, it must be tagged as "spoilers" and the subject line should either include the word "Spoilers" or describe the nature of the spoilers (i.e. "Sneak Peak", "Preview clip", etc.).

Any spoilers may be discussed in any post properly marked as such; discussion will not be limited to only the spoilers specifically mentioned in the body of the post.

Please don’t discuss or hint at spoilers in any posts that are not specifically labeled as spoiler posts. Not everyone is spoiled, so be respectful of your fellow comm members. Sometimes we think something is common knowledge, but it isn't, so always err on the side of caution. Everything is considered a spoiler until the show has aired in eastern time (1 to 2 p.m.). We also ask that you don't use a mood icon when posting spoilers, as that in itself can be spoilery.

Note: Casting is not considered a spoiler, so the fact that an actor/character is coming to or leaving Salem is fair game. So, "Marlena is returning to Salem!" is cool. "Marlena is returning to Salem because she's possessed by the devil again!" is not.

Posting Info
* Please do not post using rich text -- only use HTML. Otherwise, your embed codes, etc., will not work properly. The LJ FAQ (including HTML information) can be found here!

* Please use official episode posts to share your thoughts on any given episode instead of starting your own. This way the comm doesn't get clogged up with a bunch of reaction posts after an episode. Official episode posts will go up after the live watch post. We'll edit it with the YouTube clip as soon as one is available.

* Please keep off-topic posts (e.g. non-WilSon topics or tangentially related subjects such as: “My cousin’s best friend lives on Wilson Street and his name is Sonny! Isn’t that funny?” or “I’m going on vacation and my fanfic will be on hiatus” etc.) for your personal LJ. And while discussion about other Days storylines/characters/actors is happily encouraged in the live watch and episode posts, new posts should be about Will and/or Sonny. So if you want to talk about Jack and Jennifer, you're more than welcome to do so in the comments of an episode post, but please don't start a new post on that subject.

* When making a post for specific discussion purposes, please use this format for the subject line: Discussion Post: Will’s Relationship with Gabi.

* If you want to pimp another community or website, please run it by a mod first.

* All fic and vid posts will be categorized under an author/artist tag (e.g. “author/artist: janedoe”). If you’d like a tag, please PM a mod and we’ll be happy to make one for you!

Fic
Since this is a shipper community, all fics must feature Will/Sonny as the main pairing.

* Stories must be properly formatted with paragraph breaks and spacing, be behind an LJ cut, and use the fic header provided below.

* If you post your entire fic in the comm -- which you are more than welcome to do! -- please put it under an LJ cut. Read the LJ FAQ (here) for more on how to make LJ cuts and other HTML questions you may have.

* We suggest you use a beta for your fic, and there are several great resources out there, including Common Errors in English Usage, thamiris's Sexed Up Grammar Guide, and fandom_grammar. There’s also great info on epithets (e.g. “the blond(e)” “the student”) here and here.

* Freddie/Chandler RPF/RPS is permitted. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but we ask that if RPF/RPS is posted, you refrain from making disparaging comments. No one’s forced to read any fic they don’t want to. :)

* If there is explicit Will/Other or Sonny/Other content in fic (e.g. Will and Sonny temporarily break up and they date other people), this must be mentioned in the Author’s Notes.

* REQUIRED WARNINGS: If your fic contains any of the following, you must warn for it in your Author's Notes:

- Rape
- Dubious consent (dub-con)
- Graphic depictions of violence
- Underage sex (-16)
- Graphic depictions of heterosexual sex engaged in by Will or Sonny

* Will/Sonny, and Will and/or Sonny vids are happily welcomed and enthusiastically encouraged!

* Vids should be embedded in the post and a direct link should also be provided.

* If posting more than one vid at once, only one vid should be posted before using an LJ cut.

Icons
* Please share your icons with us! Will/Sonny focused or just Will or just Sonny. Freddie and/or Chandler icons also welcomed!

* Four icons of 100x100 pixels may be shown as samples, but please put the rest under an LJ cut.

Posting News and Information
* News and information about Chandler Massey and/or Freddie Smith is happily encouraged! We also welcome you to post general news about Days of Our Lives (e.g. the headwriter just got fired, or NBC renewed the show, etc.).

* When posting news items, please quote just the relevant passages (no need to reproduce the entire article unless it is very short or the entire article is about Chandler or Freddie).

* If the relevant source is on the internet, please provide a link; otherwise, provide specific information as to the source (e.g., "ABC Magazine, March 11, 2011 issue, page XX").

Graphics and Picspam posts
* Graphics submitted should be focused on Will/Sonny, Will and/or Sonny, or Freddie and/or Chandler.

* Graphics posted outside of an LJ cut should be no greater than 500x500 pixels in size. Only one such graphic should be outside the cut. Behind the LJ cut, you can post graphics that are larger than 500x500 pixels, and as many of them as you want. :D
