Bleh, why the hell would anyone like EJ/Sami? He raped her! Jack may be a rapist as well, but at least the great love of his life is Jennifer, not poor Kayla.

I hope they don't kill off Johnny- he's adorable. I'm trying to trust the writers won't be that stupid, but I'm still traumatized from all the babies that died on All My Children this year.

I've seen reports from fans who were on set for the filming of the either the Christmas Eve or the Christmas episode that assured people that Johnny was still around.

I don't understand the appeal of EJ/Sami either but, the idea of them getting back together, or having a fling, or whatever it is that's supposed to happen, doesn't feel quite as offensive to me as I would normally find a story about a woman getting involved with her rapist, and that's largely because of the fact that Sami later shot EJ in the head. I mean, I don't *want* them together; I want Lucas to come back and for THEM to get back together! But considering the history EJ and Sami have, I think they're both idiots for getting involved with each other. So, because of that history, to me, it's less like watching in horror as a woman falls for a man who attacked her and more like rubbernecking as you drive past a five car pile-up on the freeway.

Oh good! So glad Johnny will survive. I mean, All My Children killed Madison's baby -and- Angie and Jesse's baby, I don't watch General Hospital, but there was a big outcry when they killed off one of -their- children. Killing off babies should be done sparingly.

Oh that's right, Sami did get away with attempting to murder EJ didn't she? Most of what I know about Days history is from wiki entries. And yeah, Sami and EJ just toxic.

Sami/Lucas sounds like a good idea to me, though I do have to admit that I think Rafe is a damn good husband to Sami.

Before they were married. EJ blackmailed Sami by refusing to save Lucas unless Sami slept with him. Sami later married EJ as a way of trying to stop the Brady/Di Mera feud but also supposedly fell in love with him.

The circumstances were he was obsessed with her, she was in love with Lucas, she and Lucas were stranded out somewhere in the middle of nowhere, Lucas was severely injured, and E.J. came by and basically told Sami, sleep with me and I'll help you save Lucas's life, don't and I'll let him die.

I mean, it wasn't a violent attack or anything, but I think the fact that it was so cold blooded of him makes it much worse. To me, there's just a difference compared to when Jack raped Kayla. He was in anguish over the discovery that she and Steve had been playing him for a fool for months, that she'd married him out of pity but had never had any intention of actually being a wife to him. Jack's actions came very close to seeming like someone having a psychotic break, and he spent years beating himself up for what he did. None of that makes it excusable, but it does make it easier for me to believe that it was a one time thing, that he was sorry for what he'd done, and to forgive him. But the way E.J. was so cool headed about it, and the way he's never acted like he thinks there was anything wrong with what he did makes it impossible for me to look at his actions in the same way as Jack's.
